Getting Started

Samsung Pay is the smart wallet which allows you to easily make payments and use your loyalty cards simply by swiping up from the bottom of the screen.

It is super easy to use and is compatible with Galaxy S6, Galaxy S7, Galaxy S8, Galaxy S9 and Note 9 models as well as the Galaxy Watch, Gear S2 and S3 smart watches.

Samsung Pay comes pre-installed on most recent Samsung phones.

If you don’t have the app, you can download it from the Google Play store. 

To use Samsung Pay, you’ll first need to load an approved card into the app.

  1. Open the Samsung Pay application on your device and select ‘add’ to add your card
  2. Use your phone’s camera to capture your card information or manually add the details
  3. Read & accept the Terms & Conditions
  4. For verification, select one of two activation methods:
    1. Receive a one time password texted to your mobile, if mobile number is known; or
    2. Opt to call the Heritage Contact Centre on 13 14 22.
  5. Once verification is completed, you’ll receive an SMS and an email confirming your card is active.

Once set up, Samsung Pay is easy to use.

Use your fingerprint, iris1 or passcode to authorise the payment and verify your identity. 

Then tap your device at the pay terminal.

You should call us immediately on 13 14 22 and we can assist you to suspend or delete your Heritage card/s. 

Your payment information is not accessible without your fingerprint or Samsung Pay PIN.

For added security, the Samsung Find My Mobile service can remotely lock or erase your payment cards in Samsung Pay.* 

If you are having issues with your Samsung pay, check you are adding an active Heritage Visa Card that has the payWave symbol.

You will also need to be connected to the internet when adding a payment card.
