Bank@Post - Cash & Cheque Deposits

Bank@Post is Australia Post’s agency banking service and is a convenient option if you don’t have access to a Heritage branch.

With facilities at around 3,500 Australia Post outlets around the country displaying the Bank@Post sign, you can:
  • Withdraw money
  • Deposit cheques and/or cash
  • Check your account balance
All you need is your Heritage Visa debit, credit or loan deposit card.

Deposit cheques by mail

Although we don’t offer an online cheque deposit service, you can use Bank@Post or post your cheque to Heritage and we will deposit it into your account.

Simply print and complete our Signed Written Request form. Then post the form, with the cheque included, to us at: Heritage Bank, PO Box 190, Toowoomba QLD 4350.

If you don’t have access to a printer, you can write a letter detailing your request instead. The letter must include:

  • Your account name and number
  • Details of the request. For example: Please deposit the enclosed cheque into my account number 123456789 and account type S1.
  • Your contact phone number
  • Your signature (digital signature not accepted)
Please note that depositing a cheque by mail can take a little longer than a usual cheque deposit due to postage and processing delays.

International money transfers

You don’t need to make it into a branch to transfer money internationally or receive money from overseas. Check out our International Hub for more information.

Money transfer above internet banking limit

If you need to make a transfer above your daily internet banking limits, call us on 13 14 22. We can help you increase your internet banking transfer limits up to the maximum available limits. If this is not enough, you can also complete a Transfer to Another Financial Institution form and return it to us by email, fax or mail. A manual transfer fee applies.

Same day transfer to another financial institution

When you need to move money fast, you can use your Mobile Banking App to transfer to participating financial institutions in under two hours using NPP Faster Payments
