Government Payment Updates

From 22 September 2026, government payments will be credited at approximately 6:00am AEST instead of 2:30am AEST. Please allow for the later processing time.

If you have a scheduled payment on the same day that relies on an incoming government payment to fund the payment, it may be rejected if there are insufficient funds available when the payment is processed.
 
If this happens, we will automatically try to process the payment the following day. To help avoid a payment being rejected, you may need to adjust the scheduled day of your payment to allow sufficient time for your government payment to be credited. You can do this via Heritage Online.
