Steps for first-time users

If you are a first-time user, you will need to use the temporary password issued to you by Heritage to log in for the first time.

Step 1: Login using your member number and temporary password

Enter your member number at the login screen and the temporary password issued to you by Heritage. Click Login.

Note: You can choose to enter your password using the Virtual Keyboard by selecting 'Use the Virtual Keyboard to input my password'. This will allow you to your mouse to click on the keys of the virtual keyboard as it moves around your screen. The Virtual Keyboard does not display on touch screen devices.


Step 2: Change your temporary password

For security reasons, you will need to change your password to your own. Follow the password requirements to set up up your own password and click confirm. A message will appear on the screen confirming that your password has been changed, effective immediately.


Step 3: Read and accept the terms and conditions

Read and accept the terms and conditions by clicking accept. View any alerts and click continue. Once you have checked your identification details, press confirm. You are now logged into Heritage Online.

You may also be prompted to sign up for SMS services if you haven't already. SMS services is an optional way to transfer money to new payees using a One Time Password sent to your phone. If you've already chosen to use Heritage Online with a Pay Anyone password you can decline this invitation.

Steps for returning users

Step 1: Login using your member number and password

Enter your member number at the login screen and your password. Click Login.

Step 2: Confirm your identification details 

Check your identification details are still correct including your last login date. Click confirm to continue. 

You are now logged in to Heritage Online.

WARNING: Do not login if you suspect your computer or device is being viewed or accessed remotely by someone other than you. If this happens, cancel your login and contact Heritage on 13 14 22. You may be the target of a scam.

Password security

Remember, your password is top secret and needs to be protected. This means that you must not:

× Tell anyone else your password

× Write or record your password in any way, except in a disguised manner that is meaningless to anyone else.

If you have a joint account under which any one of you can transact (one to sign), you will share the same Heritage Online login password for that membership.
