The Heritage Platinum Credit Card comes with a range of fantastic benefits including complimentary insurance. Details of the insurance, including cover inclusions, exclusions and limits, are outlined in the Visa Platinum Credit Card Complimentary Insurances brochure. 

Here are some of the highlights:

International Travel Insurance*
Up to three months overseas travel insurance for selected insurable events when you pay for the travel costs using your Visa Platinum Credit Card prior to departure.

Interstate Flight Inconvenience Insurance*
If travelling for up to 14 days within Australia, you can be reimbursed for a range of losses and inconveniences.

Transit Accident Insurance*
Transit Accident Insurance covers the cardholder for specific injuries sustained whilst on a trip during transit, which has been paid for on your card.

Purchase Cover Insurance*
Many new personal goods you purchase on your card are protected against loss, theft or damage for up to 90 days.

Extended Warranty Insurance*
Extended Warranty Insurance extends the Australian warranty on covered products that have been purchased on an eligible card, in the event that the product fails or breaks down.

Guaranteed Pricing Scheme*
If you discover within 60 days of buying a product that another store is now advertising the same product for a cheaper price, claim for the difference in price, provided that it is more than $75.

While overseas: If you have an emergency whilst overseas you can call Allianz Global Assistance in Australia at any time on +61 7 3305 7499. Reverse charge calls to this number can be made from many countries via Australia Direct®, Telstra’s international reverse charge service. For 24 hour emergency assistance within Australia, please call 1800 010 075.

For all other claims and enquiries within Australia, please call Allianz Global Assistance on 1800 785 074 or cardclaims@allianz-assistance.com.au.

Loan to Value Ratio (LVR) is the loan amount divided by the value of your security property (determined by Heritage Bank at assessment), multiplied by 100. Owner Occupied loans have a maximum LVR of 95%, Investment loans have a maximum LVR of 80% and Living Equity has a maximum LVR of 80%.
