Here are some of the highlights:
International Travel Insurance*
Overseas travel insurance for trips purchased on your Visa Platinum Credit Card for up to three months.
Interstate Flight Inconvenience Insurance*
If travelling for up to 14 days within Australia, you can be reimbursed for a range of losses and inconveniences.
Transit Accident Insurance*
Transit Accident Insurance covers the cardholder for specific injuries sustained whilst on a trip during transit, which has been paid for on your card.
Purchase Cover Insurance*
Many new personal goods you purchase on your card are protected against loss, theft or damage for up to 90 days.
Extended Warranty Insurance*
Extended Warranty Insurance extends the Australian warranty on covered products that have been purchased on an eligible card, in the event that the product fails or breaks down.
Guaranteed Pricing Scheme*
If you discover within 60 days of buying a product that another store is now advertising the same product for a cheaper price, claim for the difference in price, provided that it is more than $75.

How to make a claim

Due to a change in Insurers as of July 1, 2015 please ensure you contact the correct Insurance provider. For all claims after July 1, 2015 please contact Allianz Global Assistance. For all claims where the claimable event occurred prior to July 1, 2015 please contact Zurich Australian Insurance Limited ("Zurich").
Claims after July 1, 2015
Please do not contact Heritage Bank in the event of a claim as we are not involved in processing insurance claims. Allianz Global Assistance will be providing assistance from July 1, 2015, but for all claims before this date, please refer to Zurich.
While overseas: If you have an emergency whilst overseas you can call Allianz Global Assistance in Australia at any time on +61 7 3305 7499. Reverse charge calls to this number can be made from many countries via Australia Direct®, Telstra’s international reverse charge service.
