Heritage has won recognition from two of Australia’s leading financial data providers after picking up several awards for its deposit and home loan products.
Canstar has awarded Heritage with a 5 Star Rating for Outstanding Value Savings and Transaction Accounts for two products, the Online Saver account (Flexible Saver category) and Pension Plus account (Senior Transactor category).
The Canstar Star Ratings system uses a sophisticated and unique ratings methodology that compares both the fees and features of the product. It’s then rated out of 5, with the highest achievement of 5 Stars representing the top 10% of products highlighted for offering outstanding features and value.
Heritage’s Online Saver account was also named as a winner in the 2020 RateCity Gold Savings Account Awards for Best Standard Savings Account.
This follows on from the inaugural RateCity Gold Home Loan Award Heritage received in December for their Investor 3-Year Fixed Home Loan – Home Advantage Package.
RateCity’s awards are based on market-leading Real Time Ratings™ system, which gives every savings account in their database a score out of five based on interest rates and fees accrued over a set time period. Winners are determined from the average of the daily Real Time Ratings™ over a three-month period with the top 10 per cent of products in each category receiving a Gold Award.
Heritage Bank CEO Peter Lock said the awards provided further confidence that Heritage was delivering on its goal of providing great customer experiences.
“Customer-owned banks are genuine about providing products and services that benefit their members and keep their needs top of mind,” Mr Lock said.
“Heritage Bank’s genuine focus on members is the reason why we were rated as the most authentic bank in the country in the J.D. Power 2020 Australia Bank Brand Authenticity Study earlier this year.
“We’re absolutely delighted to continue the momentum with endorsements from highly-respected organisations like Canstar and Rate City. It shows that we are delivering on our commitment to putting people first.”
