Welcome to the new Heritage Bank website

Heritage has launched a new website for heritage.com.au! We’ve redesigned and rewritten the website from the ground up to provide you with a fresher, more modern representation of the People first approach that Heritage is known for.  The new user-based design focuses on helping you discover the information you need to become financially empowered and make decisions about the products required at different stages of life.  It’s all about providing you with a better overall online Heritage experience.

What's new?

New menu

Tested with actual customers, we've refreshed the menu to make it easier for you to navigate between pages to find the information you’re looking for.

New look

One of the biggest changes you’ll notice is the massive difference in how the new website looks. We’ve taken design cues from the latest trends in web and app design to revamp the new website with a cleaner, less crowded look.

Improved mobile experience

With more and more people using mobile phones and tablets to access our website these days, we’ve designed the new site for mobile screens first, making the experience on these devices much clearer, faster, and consistent.  We completely redesigned the menu and tested it with many real people before building began.  In fact, in our testing, the mobile menu was much faster for people to navigate than on a desktop!

All new "I want to..." section

The new keystone of the website - the "I want to" section - contains articles that will help you with the key events in life, such as moving house, retiring, or travelling.  It advises on hidden costs to watch out for and things you may need to consider when going through these events in your life. After all, there a lot more to things to think about when buying a house or car than choosing a loan!

New Help & Guidance section

The new Help & Guidance section of the website contains over 200 articles, tips, and tools to explain banking concepts, help save money, calculate the cost of your finances, and much more.  We’ll link back to these resources from different parts of the website to provide you with helpful information to guide you through life’s key moments.

What's the same?

This is a change to the heritage.com.au website only. We haven’t changed Internet Banking, Business Netbanking, the Heritage mobile apps, or any other sites that you connect to from heritage.com.au.

Why are you changing the website?

We’re all about providing great customer experiences and updating the website is part of our commitment to this.

While our website does a great job, it was getting a little outdated in both design and functionality. We also identified a few areas we could improve on so have taken the opportunity to transform the website to provide you with a better overall online Heritage experience.

Of course, one of the biggest changes you’ll notice is the massive difference in how the new website looks. But it’s not just about changing the look and feel.

We did a lot of testing with real people so we could design the new website to be more user friendly. This includes revamping the menu so it’s easier for you to navigate between pages to find the information you need and improving mobile compatibility so it’s easier to use the website on mobile phones and tablets. We’ve also included a new Help and Guidance section filled with handy articles, tips and tools.

When did the new website launch?

The new website launched in January 2018.

How do I know that the website is genuine if it’s changed?

Our new website retains the same high level of security. If you are unsure of the validity of Heritage’s website or would like to check, simply type the URL into the address bar of your internet browser heritage.com.au. Just like our current website, you should see a green lock icon in the address bar, which indicates that you’re connected to us securely.

Do I need to upgrade my web browser?

The new website is supported by modern browsers, therefore we recommend you upgrade your browser to ensure the best website experience.  Note: If using Internet Explorer prior to version 11 the site may appear with limited functionality, however users should still be able to complete all tasks successfully. To provide the best user experience we recommend accessing the site using Chrome or Safari web browsers.

Which devices can I use to view the new website?

The website is responsive and can be viewed using laptops and desktop computers, tablets (Apple and Android) and Mobiles (Apple, Android and Windows).

Are there any changes to Internet Banking?

No. We haven’t changed Internet Banking, Business Netbanking, the Heritage mobile apps, or any other sites that you connect to from heritage.com.au. You’ll still be able to access Internet Banking from the top right hand corner of our website. Your logon details will not change.
