Heritage in the community
The annual Heritage Bank Toowoomba Royal Show returned to the Darling Downs from 1pm Thursday 30th March to Saturday 1st April 2023 and included an exciting line up of activities and entertainment for the whole family.
For over 22 years, Heritage Bank has supported the Toowoomba Show to help educate and showcase the outstanding agricultural and horticulture of our local region.
Our support in 2023 went towards the many programs and events conducted throughout the show which aim to educate the community about the importance of agriculture. This includes the 2023 Ag Long Lunch which invites a select number of school students, teachers and local producers to enjoy a meal prepared using local ingredients from around the region.
The 2023 show also saw us support the junior classes for a number of sections, including cooking, photography, floral art, floriculture and leatherwork.
A Heritage Bank display returned to the Founders Pavilion with a hands-on interactive stand. Our Little Backyard Farmers stand encourages children to learn about farming by exploring and experiencing the importance of future sustainability practices through activities such as collecting eggs, harvesting crops, nurturing plants and more.
