The Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers returned to the region in 2020 with a re-imagined version that catered to the circumstances. While this year’s Heritage Bank Festival of Food & Wine was rested due to COVID-19, the 10 days of carnival program were filled with 30 events and activations, with 48 local tours showcasing local eateries or historic attractions of the Southern Queensland Country.
Toowoomba parks and public places headlined the 2020 Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers and offered everyone the chance to play in the petals this Spring! The 170,000 blooms that coloured the city in September were completely free to see. Selected parks also featured floral displays, parkland entertainment and food trucks, providing something for everyone at the 2020 Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers.
