Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers

Community comes first as petals power parade

How are we helping?

1 - 30 September 2021

The iconic Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers was held from 1-30 September with a month long line up of entertainment and fun for the whole family!

Heritage partnered with the Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers to provide a helping hand to community groups to allow them to take part in the 2021 Grand Central Floral Parade.

The Floral Parade is a key highlight of the Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers and is a fantastic celebration of the region's community spirit. Both young and old gather street side to marvel at the astonishing floral displays as they float through the Toowoomba CBD.

As the Floral Parade Community Grants Partner, grants of up to $1,500 to 14 not-for-profit organisations were handed out to help with decorating their parade entries. Aside from delighting the crowds, their participation in the parade will help to shine a spotlight on their organisations and the important contribution they make in our community.

"A little bit of help can go a long way and Heritage Bank is keen to show support and help celebrate the amazing community spirit that can be discovered in Toowoomba"

Peter Lock, CEO Heritage Bank
