Heritage Credits FAQ's

Heritage Credits allows you to spend the credits that you've earned on products for your home and lifestyle. You can also redeem credits for electronic gift cards from a wide range of retailers. Participating retailers include:

Most everyday spending where you use your card or digital wallet to make a purchase will count towards your qualifying spend on a Heritage Bank rewards enabled credit card. 

Transactions that don't count towards your spend are cash advances, interest charges, credit fees and charges, disputed transactions, foreign exchange purchases, travellers cheques, credit card payments, gambling chip purchases, bill payments using BPAY® or utility bills paid over the counter at a financial institution at Bank@Post outlet.

To earn more Heritage Credits, here are some tips: 

• Stay banking with Heritage. If you're registered for Heritage Credits, you'll receive annual Membership Anniversary credits that increase over time the longer you bank with us.
• Use your rewards credit card more. Make the most of Heritage Credits by putting purchases on your rewards credit card instead of a debit card. Make sure you understand how to make the most of your credit card interest free period so that you can pay your balance back and avoid big interest charges.
• Add an additional cardholder to your credit card. Adding an additional authorised cardholder can boost the monthly spending on your card and earn you more credits. 
• Spend at nominated partners. Heritage may offer additional credits for spending at nominated retailers which you can find a list of in the Heritage Credits portal.
