Term Deposit Details

View details

Accessible in the Accounts menu under Account Information. Also accessible when viewing the transactions of a term deposit account in the I'd Like to side menu under View/Manage Term Deposit Details.

Details for each deposit will be shown including the deposit number, maturity date and the amount of your deposit. 

You will also be able to see the commencement date, interest rate of deposit, action on maturity, action on interest, interest paid frequency, interest next due, interest paid to date and interest accrued to date.

If required you can edit the details of Term Deposits by clicking on Manage

Manage Term Deposit

Accessible in the Accounts menu under Account Information.

To change the principal and interest payment instructions for your Term Deposit click Manage. 

Step 1. Select an option for the Principal Instructions. Principal Instruction Change options include:

  • Reinvest all funds
  • Transfer all funds to an ‘S’ or ‘L’ account (only to a Heritage account you have already nominated at a Heritage branch or added via the “Pay Anyone” facility).

Step 2. Select an option for the Interest Instructions. Interest Instruction Change options include:

  • Reinvest all funds
  • Transfer all funds to an ‘S’ or ‘L’ account (only to a Heritage account you have already nominated at a Heritage branch or added via the “Pay Anyone” facility).

Step 3. Click the Submit button. Your Term Deposit Details have now been updated, and a confirmation letter will be sent to you. You can view the details on the Account Information page for the applicable account.

Please note the following:

  • Changes can be applied only on ‘Pay Interest at Maturity’ Term Deposits
  • Changes can be applied only to I1, I2, I3, I4, I5, I6, I7, I8, I9, I10, I11 and I12 accounts.
  • If ‘Reinvest’ is selected for Interest Instructions then ‘Reinvest’ must be selected for Principal Instructions.
