Heritage partners with Australian Death Notification Service

20 January 2022

Heritage has partnered with the Federal Government’s Australian Death Notification Service (ADNS) to help the loved ones of deceased Heritage members experiencing grief.

From today, families of deceased Heritage members have the option of contacting the Australian Death Notification Service (ADNS) to notify multiple organisations that someone has passed away using a single online notification.

Rather than grieving families having to have the same conversation with each service provider, ADNS validates the notification with the Births, Deaths and Marriages register, then contacts multiple service providers like Heritage.

This is just another option Heritage is offering to support grieving loved ones at a difficult time. Families can still contact Heritage directly through a branch or by calling the contact centre, if they choose.

More information is available on the Deceased Estates page.
