Heritage Bank’s Kingaroy branch marked a special milestone on Thursday 12 December, marking its 25th anniversary with a celebratory morning tea with the community.
It was all hands on deck for the Heritage team as locals turned out in force, with a steady stream of customers and well-wishers filling the branch.
The Kingaroy branch was officially opened 25 years ago by Senator The Hon. Ian Macdonald, then Minister for Regional Services and Territories. Over the years, it has become an important part of the community, building a strong history of supporting customers across the region.
Kaye Ross, People First Bank Regional Manager – Community & Darling Downs Branches, said the strong turnout showed just how important the branch remains to the community.
“It was wonderful to see so many new and familiar faces celebrate this milestone with us,” Ms Ross said.
“The branch was busy all morning, which really speaks to the strong connection we have with the Kingaroy community. Our team loved being able to mark the occasion and say thank you to everyone who has supported us over the past 25 years.”
