Heritage Bank raises some fundraising steaks

There’s no need for Toowoomba CBD workers to pack a lunch this Friday (19 April) with Heritage Bank running a fundraising barbeque outside its Plaza Branch.

Sausages and steaks will be sizzling to raise funds for the Queensland Cancer Council’s Relay for Life which will be held on 18-19 May.

Customers will also be able to snag a ticket in a raffle for a framed and signed Broncos’ jersey valued at $1000.

The barbeque will be run by Heritage staff at 400 Ruthven Street from 11am until 2pm. Prices start at $2 for a sausage with onions and sauce on a piece of bread, $4 for a steak sandwich, $2 for a soft drink or bottle of water, or a special “meal deal” of a steak sandwich and drink for $5.

Heritage CEO Mr John Minz is Patron of the Toowoomba Relay for Life event. Heritage has been a long-time supporter of the event, raising up to $20,000 in a year to help cancer research, education programs, and patient support services.
