Heritage Bank Live brings Aussie rock royalty to Carnival

 

Iconic Aussie rock acts Mental as Anything, James Reyne, Mark Seymour and Ross Wilson feature among an exciting line-up in the Heritage Bank Live Concert Series at this year’s Carnival of Flowers in Toowoomba.



A diverse array of other acts will also take centre stage to satisfy all musical tastes.



Heritage Bank is proud to sponsor the three nights of concerts that take place at the Carnival on September 21, 22 and 23.



The concerts are included in the price of entry to the Ergon Energy Flower, Food and Wine Festival in Toowoomba’s beautiful Queens Park.

Friday, 21 September:



Bluejuice:

Blueju!ce's music is a mix of pop, rock, hip hop, electro and disco and the pure energy and humour with which the band attack their music, makes them stand out. With the illustrious honour of having the most played song ever in the history of triple j, this year Blueju!ce released their third and favourite album, 'Company'. Living up to expectations, the album has been named triple j's Feature Album of The Week and is picking up top reviews across the country. Owleyes

With a string of sold out shows over the past year, chosen by the Sydney Morning Herald music writers as one of Music's "Next Big Things" for 2012, two entries in the triple j Hottest 100, a Facebook fanbase that threatens to burst at the seams, it is little wonder that Owl Eyes newly released single 'Crystalised' is already garnering strong interest from a Gotye hungry international music community. Owl Eyes heavenly vocals should not be missed.

Lior

James Reyne

James' musical career initially took hold in the early 80's when he and some friends formed the band Australian Crawl. With his prolific song writing and unique vocal style, James led Australian Crawl to the top of the Australian music scene and the band's popularity skyrocketed. The band won numerous music and video awards and James' solo career was no different with his first self-titled solo album going triple Platinum, delivering three top 10 singles. James Reyne is recognised as one of Australia's premier performers and will provide a show stopping performance at this year's Festival!
