Getting personal with access cards
Facebook…it’s a way of connecting people to the world by sharing information through a personalised profile that lets friends find you.
Nowadays the phenomenal networking site is attracting more and more Australians – 6.4 million to be more precise.
Just like personalising a Facebook page with a profile picture, members of Heritage, Australia’s largest building society, can personalise their cash cards with almost any image of their choice or by choosing from the Society’s extensive image library.
To date, the top three image choices for cash cards by Heritage members are children, weddings and pets.
So cardholders can be reminded of their favourite day, kids or four legged friend whenever they use their Heritage cash card to access their finances, just like they can see them on their Facebook profile pages.
Personalised cash cards are just one of the highlights that come with opening a Simply Access account at Heritage, an everyday working account designed for frequent transactions.
Consumer group Choice recently reported that a customer satisfaction survey put building societies and credit unions at the top of the satisfaction ladder for everyday banking, beating the major four in the areas of pricing and service.
Heritage General Manager Retail Services Mr Paul Francis said the Society’s mutual structure provides an overall better service to members in comparison to the major banks.
“As a mutual building society, unlike the banks, we are not profit maximisers. The profits that we do retain are re-invested for the benefit of our members in the form of providing lower fees and charges and a better service as compared to our major competitors. When it comes to service, we focus on providing a standard that the big banks do not cater for,” he said.
So if you are sick of boring cards or simply want more out of your banking relationship, contact Heritage by calling 13 14 22, visiting your local Heritage branch or accessing Create Your Own Card.
