Term Deposit Details

Accessible via View/Manage Term Deposit Details in the I'd Like To... menu when viewing the transactions of a term deposit account or view Account Information under the Accounts menu.


View Term Deposit Details

View specific details relating to a Term Deposit account. 

Details for each Deposit will be shown including the following details:

  • Deposit Number
  • Maturity Date
  • Amount of Deposit

Click on the View button beside the relevant Deposit to view further details including:

  • Deposit Number
  • Deposit Maturity Date
  • Deposit Amount
  • Commencement Date
  • Interest Rate
  • Action on Maturity
  • Action on Interest
  • Interest is Paid
  • Interest Next due
  • Interest Paid to date
  • Interest Accured to Date

You can also edit the details of Term Deposits by clicking on 'Edit'. 


Manage Term Deposit Details

This function enables you to update the principal and interest payment instructions for your Term Deposit. 

To change the details of your Term Deposit:

  • Select an option for the Principal Instructions.
  • Select an option for the Interest Instructions.
  • Click the Submit button.

Your Term Deposit Details will have been updated, and an updated certificate will be mailed to you. You can view the details on the Account Information page for the applicable account.


Note: The following applies to Updating Term Deposits:

Principal Instruction Change options include:

  • Reinvest all funds
  • Transfer all funds to an ‘S’ or ‘L’ account (only to a Heritage account you have already nominated at a Heritage branch or added via the “Pay Anyone” facility).

Interest Instruction Change options include:

  • Reinvest all funds
  • Transfer all funds to an ‘S’ or ‘L’ account (only to a Heritage account you have already nominated at a Heritage branch or added via the “Pay Anyone” facility).

Please note the following:

  • Changes can be applied only on ‘Pay Interest at Maturity’ Term Deposits
  • Changes can be applied only to I1, I2, I3, I4, I5, I6, I7, I8, I9, I10, I11 and I12 accounts.
  • If ‘Reinvest’ is selected for Interest Instructions then ‘Reinvest’ must be selected for Principal Instructions.
