Why donate?

We want to give you a chance to be a part of something bigger, where what you do has a real impact on the communities around us. Your fully tax deductible donation will be donated to the Heritage Bank Charitable Foundation, which will distribute grants to selected registered charitable organisations. Our grants are targeted at making a positive difference to the lives of individuals and their families. We analyse demonstrated outcomes and projected impacts to ensure our grants maximise the benefits they deliver. Our goal is also for our grants to encourage greater collaboration and partnerships between those who share the Foundation’s passion for helping people.

Our history

Heritage has a rich history of putting People first and the Heritage Bank Charitable Foundation is another pillar for us to spread this philosophy and better the communities we operate in. 

Who do we support?

The Heritage Bank Charitable Foundation has been established as a Public Ancillary Trust. As a result, the Foundation can only make donations to registered charitable organisations that have deductible gift recipient (DGR) status. Grants can be provided to organisations across Australia, but extra weight will be given to causes that will benefit greater numbers of Heritage customers.


Our supporters

Heritage Bank established the Heritage Bank Charitable Foundation in 2018 with initial seed funding of $2 million. Heritage will continue to make additional contributions in future to enhance the Foundation’s ability to support the important work of the registered charitable organisations who receive grants.

Heritage staff and customers have jumped right behind the Foundation, with their generous donations helping the great work being done in our communities.
