Mr Claydon has been with Heritage since 2004 and brings considerable experience in process efficiency improvement, innovation and digital banking.
Most recently, Mr Claydon held the role of Payment Systems Manager and has also worked in a number of IT positions, specialising in payments and transactional systems.
Heritage Bank CEO Peter Lock said Mr Claydon’s innovative service approach would greatly complement the operations arm of the bank. “We want to make it as easy as possible for customers to do business with us,” Mr Lock said.
“Therefore it’s essential that we find areas where we can improve on to offer even more modern, simple and hassle-free banking services.
“Richard’s skills and insight into the evolving digital landscape will help guide Heritage into the future and we’re very excited to welcome him into the role.”
